You use what is around you and you make it into something universal.

You use what is around you and you make it into something universal.

      A Vehicle Of Truth

I send you a spark;

Spark to spark

From lingonberry hills

Surrounding.

A reminder; moment’s sending;

A surrender in the sending.

Visions, no –

But I can see, I can imagine,

I can think.

And with the little that I know

I can distil – and do.

A central point;

Two central points;

Two points: me, you,

You, me.

I analyze unconsciously,

A moment’s yes, my distillation:

Turning up-

Side/inside down and out.

And sending one lone spark.

Breaking It Down Into Fractions 2010

Breaking It Down Into Fractions

How much can it be broken down?

Vaguely, sharply, suddenly

I see the possibility

Of fractions’ paring

Scaling power:

Endlessly.

Concentrated, minimized.

Devoured by; endowed

With something like

An inner sense,

A riddle answered and rewarded:

What surrounds can be reduced

Without being diminished

Ever,

Infinitely.

Something I

Can’t get and never may be able to

Get this small head around,

But nonetheless like very much.

The Essence Question 2010

      The Essence Question

If essence (they say),

Am I light?

Am I energy’s

Luminous might?

What?

Am I dot

In the polka- of all mighty

Power? The powdery dust

Of an influence infinitesimal,

Guiding the universe

(Plural or singular)?

Even the seers don’t swear

In their seeing.

There’s faith and there’s hope,

The occasional fervor

To carry us further,

The sometime disclosure:

The quest and the query.

Miscellany 2010

Miscellany

Life goes along

With map pre-measured.

Map in fact,

Pre-everything.

I have to think about myself.

I have to think about who am I.

I have to do some more than think.

I have to feel, locate it,

It, the place, the dot

I make assumptions that I’m real,

That I can feel I’m real,

That in the first place,

There’s an I,

And that the I’s behind my face,

And not my face,

And not my hands

And not my feet,

And not the bits inside my body.

That the I is something I can know,

And someone I must value

Because I can never leave it.

I am me forever.

They’re All Agreed 2010

          They’re All Agreed

They’re all agreed –

It’s very, very quiet there.

Up

or out or maybe inA space so hidden

That it is a twin

To so-called outer space

Where it is very, very quiet

In the place where

It is all created:

All the synchronistic sequences

That take the meaning

Out of chaos.

I read that they ‘re all agreed,

And I’m afraid

A little,

Which just shows that I’m not ready.

It Will Happen To You 2010

It Will Happen To You

It happened yesterday

Moments of the dark night.

Mystics know about it.

Saint John of the Cross, Theresa,

Milarepa, Ramakrishna.

Meaninglessness, emptiness,

The psyche says depress.

It’s summer. All the best shows cease.

Isn’t that ridiculous?

Trigger:

Physiology?

Maybe. Partly. Hardly.

Deeper than the molecule in any case.

A thought that sees

Illusion, passing hollowness.

I didn’t cling

But let it go and mentioned it to Kent.

It went.

I seized upon ideas to glue

Myself to You,

Invisible as always.

But as usual -

The one remaining thing to do.

What Is 2010

What Is

A point of light

And inside love.

Knowledge that we cannot know

And knowledge that we do.

What is

A thing whose energy itself is

Bliss – for us the height of happiness -

Peace and mercy -

Mercy even when the thing looks bad;

And power that is always made,

Can never end,

And light that’s conscious –

That’s the best – the consciousness.

It can’t be born.

It never is.

It cannot die.

It never does.

It doesn’t do

And yet

It is itself a giver,

Right down to its unexisting liver.

Who is what is who?

I do not know.

Incorporeal entitled to big I.

Not born, not dying,

Always pleased no matter what.

An ocean fountain streaming virtue,

I’ll go back to that.

It is the only thing that’s true.

Another Realization 2010

Another Realization

You are the stillness that gives energy.

Oxymoron, yes?

That’s my hypothesis.

If there is cause of cause of cause

- effects, of course -

You are the first. That’s my hypothesis.

If cause always produces chains,

Produces always chains,

Produces chains all ways

This energy

May always be,

Never losing mileage the entire way.

Pattern, law,

Matter, form,

According to the laws of cause.

This is the place my logic falls,

In a place where logic fails.

 Now me,

My form and energy.

An elongation of these two.

I know my form is molecule

And maybe something tinier

With energy the core;

Core energy to form to power:

I’m energy.

I start and end with You, somehow.

This is a sudden insight

That will never convince anyone

But me myself.

Observed By Silence Itself 2010

Observed By Silence Itself

Tendencies manifest and latent.

Observed by silence.

Thoughts wandering and pointed.

Threads that spread

To oceans of diffusion

While the central point that joins them

Looks and sees without an eye,
Listens hears without an ear,

A fear, a sentiment,

But somehow, clarity

And love.

In someplace, shall we say

Above

And silent.

Prayer Of The Day 2010 2nd version

Prayer Of The Day

I need a champion:

An

Energetic and creative

Someone to believe

In me, has time or wants

To take and turn

My limitations, IQ, talent,

Leanings, knowledge,

Sloth, easy distraction,

Handling the winds of fate

With artistry to my advantage.

All I am capable of doing

Is to follow intuition,

Sing, play, write

For an invisible

In waiting.
